Once we raise 90% of our minimum budget, we will be applying for a Certificate of Eligibility and Visas. When received, we'll have 90 days to be in the country. Since we already have all of our passports, we will likely at that point begin packing our shipment into the storage container (our 'totes' have been packed for awhile now), and will be managing the remaining few items in our home. There won't be much left other than to pack our bags and buy our plane tickets.
Although we don't intend to return before 4 years, roundtrip tickets are required for visa applications. 8 round-trip plane tickets, insurance, luggage, and travel fare to the final destination for a family of 8 is an expense that we'll need to have saved for and ready in advance.
