About the Copelands

We're a family who seeks to follow, grow closer with, and be filled with the love and grace of God through Jesus. We are first and foremost, children of God--people who identify with and rejoice in the fact that we get to be Christians, people who are loved and chosen by God to live in community with other believers for His glory and purposes. And from there, in all the ways He blesses and guides and empowers, we are parents, spouses, siblings, teachers, caregivers, students, dancers, image bearers of God, using and serving with whatever gifts he gives us to be satisfied in Him and bless others.

Ben and Alicia have been married since 2011, and began their parenting journey in 2013. Ben has been serving as a Kids Pastor, elementary teacher of extracurricular activities, and mental health counselor, and Alicia has been caregiving, first to the elderly, and now to her family as a full-time mother of 6 children.

The Copelands are currently raising funds to follow a call to serve in Japan as part of a Church Planting Team in Post-Disaster Iwate Prefecture (Northern Japan) with an unchurched and unengaged area focus, where many rural families remain unreached with the gospel. If you feel prompted, please do pray for, support and help reach these families with us with God's love!
